About MicroType Engineering

MicroType Engineering transforms your new and exciting product ideas into working prototypes. Specializing in electronic products and circuit board design, we create functional products for testing, marketing, and production.

What We Do

We turn your ideas into physical products.

Our expertise in circuit board design and electronic product development means high-quality, well-designed prototypes no matter the size of your business. If your product is still in the conceptual stage, we’ll work with you to clarify your vision and come up with a design that works. Or if you already have a working iteration that needs improvement from talented engineers, we can do that too. No matter what stage you’re in, we’ll continue to work with you through testing and revisions until your design is ready for manufacture.

What We Offer

We offer expertise, technical know-how, and advanced methodology to make your product design become a reality.

Initial consultation with MicroType Engineering is free of charge – we’re glad to talk with you to learn about your vision, requirements, and timeline. Once we have a good idea of how to proceed, we’ll give you a formal proposal with a delivery date.

We believe in communication at every stage of the process, with our experienced team working with you to refine your ideas and exceed your expectations.

Our Prototyping Process

Free Consultation

Consultation is the cornerstone of our design approach. Through our discovery phase, our engineers will work with you to determine the feasibility of your project and provide an effort estimate to deliver your prototype.

Design Phase

Using the latest methods such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), we do the heavy lifting for you in the design phase. It’s a collaborative process – we’re with you every step of the way to deliver your vision.

Delivery

Once we have a design, we fabricate your prototype in-house and deliver on an agreed timeframe based on the product specifications. Our consultative approach doesn’t end, though, as we continue to work with you through testing and design modifications as you prepare for manufacturing.
